Actor, Storyteller & Presenter
Lucy writes and tells stories, presenting and performing at festivals, museums and theatres. Acting work includes theatre, film and voice over.
Credits include presenting Pantone Colours at the Hay Literature Festival, Thought Literary Festival and Imagine Festival at the Southbank. Recently, Lucy has written and performed ‘The Unexpected Journey of Chocolate’ for the Roald Dahl Museum and filmed an interview with the chair of Downton Abbey’s Cottage Hospital restoration campaign.
Storytelling performances include writing and touring the Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland story exhibition for The Story Museum, Oxford, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Alice; devising and presenting the Pantone Colours event at the Hay Literature Festival in association with Abrams & Chronicle; delighting audiences with a celebration of Babar’s 80th birthday and being the voice of a squirrel to support a Woodland Whispers charity, directed by Avril Lethbridge. Lucy is represented for Storytelling by Authors Aloud, has a Gold Medal in the Speaking of Verse and Prose from LAMDA and is a full member of Equity.
Acting roles include performances with Rhinestone Pictures, The Oxford Playhouse Playbites for Lunch and Ruskin Theatre.
