Storyteller, Actor & Presenter

Lucy is a storyteller, actor, and presenter. As a storyteller, Lucy writes and performs storytelling shows supporting language development, communication, and play. Her work spans fictional and factual storytelling presenting educational content in a storytelling format. She has performed at literary festivals, museums, and other live events across the UK in addition to creating and presenting content for screen.

Credits include presenting Spot’s 40th Anniversary Storytime & Playtime for Puffin Books; Imagine a Story for Historic Royal Palaces Kensington; and Post a Story for the 70th anniversary of the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Lucy’s new preschool series Lucy’s Let’s Tell a Story will open at The Story Museum in 2024.

Other work includes writing and touring an Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Learning through Storiesexhibition, presenting The Very Hungry Caterpillar Storytime & Craft-Along for the Puffin Festival of Big Dreams, and Rosy and Fizz – a preschool storytelling series for Bogglesox TV. As a voice actor, Lucy’s experience spans animation and narration.

Aside from live events and on camera work, Lucy visits schools devising and delivering story and character development workshops to inspire children to create and tell their own stories. As a volunteer, Lucy supports the work of libraries as a Storyteller in Residence encouraging reading for pleasure and is passionate about how literacy and oracy can be supported through media and arts.
